Got around to having a Daenerys photoshoot today with my bestest friend before we part for college!
This is Dany’s first gown mentioned in the book- the one she wears to meet Kal Drogo for the first time. It’s described as being plum and made out of fabric so soft it’s frightening. Also, Dany is described as being really skinny and having little boobs (what a coincidence!). With these descriptions, I drafted the concept for a gown that would be both elegant yet tastefully revealing and sensual. The pattern and costume are made 100% by me and are based on the book’s version (obviously). Enjoy!Â

Worked on my BRS cosplay today. I had planned to do this like two years ago but I just didn’t..
Did I ever post my Shepdress cosplay that I wore to the midnight launch? No? I don’t think so…
Anyway, I’m really proud because not only did I make the thing in 3 days (with schooling and whatnot), I drafted all the patterns by hand and it was my first time and everything was going so well until I got the blackboard pleather. Then I kinda ruined the entire dress because that shit cray (super stiff, awkward lumping and not form fitting at all). But perhaps I’ll get a legit photoshoot done with this and it will look nicer.
